Great win for a WC team that no one thought would have much success. Two early wins over PLD and Catholic speak volumes. With that being said,

Lexington Catholic is not #8 in the state. Their guards do not handle the pressure very well and they do not seem to have that 2nd and 3rd scorers they have always had. The 42nd district tournament promises to be a doozy!

I'm not exactly shocked. Lex Cath has been on the decline for the past bit. They were slipping when I left Lexington (one of my last years there, they lost to Lafayette in district play). It seems as though they aren't getting some of the better athletes from the city as they once did. Still a quality team, but not on par with what they had under Haney and in the years immediately following.
