Assistant Coach Jon Wirth is originally from (I think) the Columbus, Ohio area and played his college ball at KCC

 

Frosh Coach Mike Miller graduated from Beechwood. I think he has 4-6 State Titles as a player and coach for their football team.

How come Pendleton only had four players score in the Brossart game?? At least, that's what the box scores stated in the Enquirer???

Fans were lined up as early as 4pm which assured them a great seat for the JV game and a look at the Mustang Freshmen practice when the doors opened at 5pm.

Don't meen to tell you your wrong but me and a couple of my friends were at BB high school at 2:30.

The webcast last night said Biggs got his start at Henderson County.

 

Biggs actually got his start at Beechwood coaching JV when the varsity coach was Mike Ford.

 

Biggs also coached Football one year at Beechwood and owns a state championship ring himself.

I'll echo what we we said about BB honoring those returning from Iraq. Awesome thought on BB's part.

Because only four players scored!!

I think one year when Biggs coached the JV basketball team either at Dayton or Beechwood they didn't win one game. The way that Biggs coaches now I find that hard to believe.

As far as my comments on the webcast about the well traveled career of one James Buddy Biggs, again I should have stated that my first recollection of him was at Henderson County in 1999 when they played in the State Tournament. I do recall his being at Beechwood now that it is mentioned - then at Mason County and currently on the glory ride at Pendleton County.

 

While he is indeed well traveled, he hasn't moved around quite enough to compete for the coveted "Roscoe Denny The Legend Suitcase Award" because he actually stays at one place more than a single season.

 

(OK - Before you all flame me about Roscoe - he does seem to have found a home in Steve Wright's South Laurel program, but his past travels do indeed earn him that meritorious distinction).

Great players can greatly enhance your coaching prowess and vice-versa.
