Pretty positive stuff for BG. 1800 more for the Belfry/Central rematch, where did they come from?

I love it, The Cooper BG game had the most, albeit BG is right there with no travel involved but Cooper had a pretty nice size fanbase there also.

Just goes to show for all those talking about less classes etc. to limit the teams that get to the finals. For a first time in state finals the Cooper BG game was pretty succesful.

Maybe the time slot. 3pm on Friday is better than 11am on either day IMO. Plus the weather was beautiful.

I will say this though Belfry brought one of the biggest crowds and I think they had the longest drive. The Pirate crowd was huge.

Cooper had a very nice crowd an BG had the biggest crowd of the weekend. Great game and great atmosphere for such a large venue.

I was impressed with Caldwell County's crowd too. They brought the whole town and they were loud. I hated to see them lose.

Is this tickets bought or tickets scanned?

These crowd numbers are impressive .

I too was impressed with the Caldwell Co. crowd :notworthy:, but have to say loved seeing them lose.

UK athletics said 77,000 people were in attendance this weekend

Bring it back to PJCS. Half the participating teams were from the Louisville area and it sure is closer for the NKY folks. We can provide BG fans maps.

Attendance is better in Bowling Green than it was in Louisville with all of the Louisville and northern Kentucky teams playing. Don't see it happening

Playing those games at U of L is like playing in a tomb. 8,000 in PJCS before the expansion was awful, now with the upper deck it would seem even worse. Even the T v. X game this year didn't even come close to filling the lower 3/4 bowl. LT Smith is about the perfect size for these games.

Can't possibly see how you can get that out of those numbers.
