Ever Read Your Old Posts?

Featured Replies

There've been a few times I've wanted to find an old thread and when the search tool wasn't cooperative I've just scrolled back a bunch of pages in whichever forum I'm in. That usually sparks my curiosity and has me opening up a bunch of old threads I've posted in to see what I had to say. It's kind of interesting. I already know I'm on the weird end of the spectrum, but has anyone else done that?

I also have to say that after reading some posts in heated threads from a now dispassionate perspective I realize I can come off as quite a jerk sometimes.

I don't necessarily go looking for my old posts, but I do a lot of browsing of old threads...particularly in the Break Room. In the process, I do come across some of my old posts & that can often be interesting.

Happens to us all Habib.

I have done the same. I have been quite the jerk before as well. It's actually embarrassing to go back and read .

I am always really impressed with my old posts.

Just me?

I run across some from time to time. I always remember, when in the P&R forums or the Public Private debates, how many times I had to step away to gain objectivity before finally posting what I eventually wrote.

Nah....I'm vain enough to be impressed by mine as well.:D

I need to go back and look. I'm fairly certain I have evolved like Obama did on gay marriage. :D

I do find it amusing to see my development as a poster here on BGP. I have definitely changed quite a bit, although I still have a tendency to talk down to people if they are blatantly wrong.

I often see the green indicator on a thread and have to go back in to see what I posted!

Just for poops and giggles, I'll look back at some of my post. I can without question say some of them I probably should have used better judgement on, but I will not hold back on what I have to say, like it or not.

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

It's horrible. I wish I could delete a few threads from about 2003 or 2004.

Once I came back on board BGPs I went back and read through some of my posts and I now see why the Guru gave me an extended vacation from the site. It's good to be back and I hope that my posts are a bit more tolerable. I could certainly be a pain in the rear. lol

As I said upon your return, it's good to have you back.
