I had heard/read comments from the right that they were PO'd at the Gov. This came out this morning and is exactly what I expected. The list of fools who have brought this disaster upon us certainly also will include New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the gelatinous clown who (a) hogged up a prime time spot at the Republican convention to sing his own praises; (b) embraced Obama as the hero of Hurricane Sandy; and © then refused to appear at campaign events in support of Romney's presidential campaign. But here you had a Governor who actually had his priorities straight for a change and that was to take care of his state and it's citizens during a crisis, which was more important than wondering how something would be portrayed to the rest of the country.

November 7, 201213 yr I like Christie and I think Clyde was dead on, what Governor wouldn't welcome a praise a President offering help for his state. Christie is a politician with an eye towards the White House. He has a much better chance of winning in four years than at any other time. He is currently "Hot" and will stay in the limelight as NJ Gov until the campaigning for 2016 starts. If he wants to be POTUS then he needs to run against the Democrats record not against a sitting GOP President. Calculated or not his actions for the last several months go further to assist his run than Gov Romney's.
