I would hope to see a huge crowd for this one! Anyone know how Conner travels? Several thousand people would be nice! People who have no allegiance to either team should come see this one, it will be a show!

Conner doesn't get good home crowd other than a few big games so they will not travel well tomorrow.

Clyde I think you may underestimate the Conner crowd. They typically fill their "half" of their stadium. There has been a weak visitor section all year sans the Cooper game. In addition, there are Conner fans across the field in the "C" Club. Furthermore, there appears to be a new tradition of tailgating in the east end zone in which there are typically a couple hundred more fans. Granted, Conner hasn't shown a "ton" of fan support throughout the years but there are a lot of folks supporting this team.

Were you there for last year's game? The Conner side was chock full. It will be again.

FYI.....Conner set an all time gate this year for the Cooper game. That is since 1971 when the school opened it's doors. Impressive.

How old are Conner and Cooper both? I was under the impression they were less than 20 years old? Am I wrong? I did not remember the crowd as we were pretty demoralized, so that was the last thing I was watching? : - ( The Franklin County crowd should be huge! So, if Conner travels well, several thousand should not be unreasonable.

I know it will be a huge crowd. I know people taking the day off of work to head South early. Even read on an OSU blog where many of their fans are heading down. Weather will be great. Game should be great.

Conner opened in 1971. Cooper opened in 2008. Nearly 600 kids from Conner were relocated to Cooper. The schools are approximately 5 miles apart.

5 straight on-side kicks and recovered 4. Basically the equivelant of four more turnovers. 3 picks, 4 fumbles (including 1 on the half yard line going in for a score to put us up by two TD's and 2 plays later, #29 goes 80 plus to the house to tie the game) and 4 on-side recoveries = 11 turnovers! : - (

If this is true, I find it hard pressed to pull this off again since FC will be expecting it this time. I have never seen a game where 11 turnovers occurred (counting on-side kicks). Very interesting game for sure. I haven't seen FC but I believe revenge factor, home field, etc.. I give FC an edge. I saw first hand what revenge factor does to kids on a home field in a big game when Conner whipped Cooper. I'm really hoping for a Conner vs Cooper rematch though (IF Cooper can squeak out a win).

It was a huge crowd. Need those for all games. Last week's crowd was terrible.

I was at the playoff game last week. About 14 kids in the student section. No row was more than 2/3 filled.

I know this because when the school fight song played I had a great view of everyone since I was the only adult standing up and clapping.

The C club has about 50 people over there. Maybe.

I hope a big crowd shows up. Fun team to watch and they deserve support.

This is the game of the week for the entire State of Ky in my opinion and I am glad it has all the focus is so deserves. Good luck to both teams as it has the potential to be Oregon-USC like with the high powered offenses. Hope FC has extra bulbs and the electric bill is paid up for the scoreboard as both teams will most likely be lighting it up. Give the score/time keeper a full supply of Red Bull.....lol

Good luck fellas...It's SHOWTIME!!

Franklin Co. was not prepared for Conner last year, they thought they had a breeze by. Trust me Ryan Timmons will probably have such a classic game tonight and will probably end up signing to Ohio State afterwards . Franklin County will roll on tonight and there will be a lot of upset Conner fans when Timmons, Maupin, Hurst, Woodside, and McKaskel(Sp) shock them. County's defense steps up big tonight if Roberts is able to play.

Why were they not prepared last year? Coaching? Player focus? Seems odd to not be prepared for a playoff game.

And a second round playoff game at that. To quote Bart Scott, 7:30 "CANT WAIT"

Not many. My buddy and I went to the concession stand and found all of the students. They were hanging out not watching the game. I ain't mad at anyone. I'm just saying I've been to too many Conner games that had way too many open seats. IMO Conner has lost its sense of community. Basketball games are equally as bad. Shame.
