Why does Highlands have such difficulty scheduling NKY teams???

Just asking a question?????? Has Trinity worked out their schedule for next year?????? Didn't only only play 9 games becouse they could not get anyone to play them in week 10?????? And isn't it week 10 that Highlands has open??????

Didn't Highlands play Ryle twice a year for a while??? I would think the gate for a Trinity game would be BIG................. And ........... if you beleave what you read on BGP Highlands needs the money. :rolleyes: Just asking??

Wasn't the T vs. HHS a scrimmage game? Oh that's right it was a scrimmage game but played like a real game! Then again of course, it doesn't count as a loss.

Given how much excitement there is for the scrimmages each year I'd love to see a regular game with T. Sure we would lose much of the time but anyone who didn't have fun at the Elder game just doesn't enjoy good football.

What are the chances of Highlands just taking two bye weeks next season, similar to what Trinity has done?

As long as Highlands keeps taking players from other schools , the competition will be weaker.

 

Give it a rest already... There are exactly 8 out of district players on HHS's Varsity/JV teams that total 91 players. 8.79% of the team doesn't live in Ft Thomas. WOW!! Huge numbers...:ohbrother: Something tells me that the 2 from Kenton County would have made just an ENORMOUS impact their respective schools, one in a county school and one probably in a private. SMH...

Have read the entire thread but I remember in 2006 the year CovCath beat HHS twice and then went on to win the state tourney many of you HHS fans said that Dale played too hard of a schedule and it hurt HHS!

I enjoyed that game more than any of the others and we lost!

Covington Catholic is 0-3 all-time against Trinity, with the last meeting taking place in 1972.

Trinity has had a dominant team the last 2 years..They're always going to be good because of the numbers and kids that'll go there from all areas surrounding Louisville, but, they will come back to the pack a little after this year unless they get some new recruits in there that aren't currently on the roster.. Don't get me wrong, they still have talent coming up, just not at the calibre of a Quick, Hatcher or Dawkins.. In normal years, Highlands would be competitive with them..
