Danville played well against Boyle Co. and won, They lost JK Howard at Green County 6' 3" 300+ lineman. You wouldn't think one player would make that much difference, but Danville thru several games since has been in a funk. If they get Howard back it could be the emotional lift the ADS need and carry them a long way towards Bowling Green. Danville playing with emotion and focused will be a tough out for any team in 2A.:dancingpa

With all due respect they're counted!....through the first 3 weeks. I spoke to Barth week 7, he was shocked by the NCC team he was watching and they have made some strides since. I'll be happy for him when they get to the 3rd round. He's doing a great job out there.

That's why they play the games. I hope to see it happen.

I'd love to see the Breds win it all, but I am thinking Danville or Somerset might be a tough nut to crack.

 

Either of those teams will be a handful.

Or the fact that NewCath just pounded a very good Beechwood team and is hot as of late, and Somerset and Danville haven't been performing as well lately, as far as OC goes, I think they lost a lot of respect from people in the state title game against NCC where everyone was so pumped about this amazing, high scoring team, and NCC shut them out, and by the way, this OC team's record and schedule is VERY similar to the last runner-up OC team. But call it what you will.

While Mason Myers is a great player on both sides off the ball, IMO I don't see them missing him that much on the offensive side. On the "D" side of things is where it will hurt. On the offensive side of things look for the Smith kid to get alot of touches from here on out, because word has it Myers definitely out 3 maybe 4 weeks. If the Breds make it to the finals, who knows????

 

Tyler Lyon more than likely will sit out this week, really no need for him to play. This will give him time to get to 100%.
