PurplePride92
Alaska. Alaska. Alaska again. Alaska one more time. No, I have never been there. No, I will never go there. Any place cold is not a welcome place for PP92 and Alaska has to be the coldest state so Alaska it is. I hate THIS weather. Alaska would literally turn me into the stereotypical angry black man. Hell to the no.
PurplePride92
Alabama, outside of their football team the place sucks. Alabama is awful.

rockmom
Idaho. Potatoes are one of my favorite foods, which kept them off my list.
KY Thorobred
Same can be said of New York once out of NYC. No way I could live in either NYC or Newark. Cooperstown area is beautiful, I wouldn't mind living around there at all!
KY Thorobred
I really like Mobile and Birmingham.:thumb: I would add Huntsville to that list but no thank you to Montgomery.
spindoc
I thought Huntsville was very nice.
bugatti
:thumb: I would add Huntsville to that list but no thank you to Montgomery. Montgomery looked like a ghost town when I went through there last year. Looked as if the bad economy got the best of it. Huntsville has NASA and one of the more odd/nicest airports you will see for a place its size.
bugatti
Idaho. Just got back from Idaho and I loved it. The people and culture is just like small town Kentucky (had BBQ a couple of times). Outside the northwest corner and southeastern portion, there is not much happening. Coeur d'Alene is the most beautiful place I've been in America. Yeah, after the Great Depression. Montgomery looked like a ghost town ravaged by a bad economy in 1995. Never been in a more depressing area and is the sole reason why I would never live in Alabama again.

Jumper_Dad
Of the states that I have lived in...Ohio, OK place to visit but WAY too much pretentious to live there full time. Of states that I have visited...California, too much gun control not enough idiot control. Hawaii for same reasons as California and it's actually more expensive...but I could visit often. Of the rest of the states...No to Georgia (Home to Honey Boo Boo), no to all upper midwest states (too cold), no to most of New England (too liberal), no to West Virginia (no explanation needed), no to Indiana (already spent 14 years there that's enough) Places I have been that I could live...Texas (Dallas Fort Worth area), Florida (Gulf Side only, pan handle preffered), Tennessee (Nashville area), Alabama (Guntersville only)

bugatti
I'm thinking Washington, I feel I would be miserable there with all the rain. My friend lives just north of Seattle and has lived all around the country. He says Washington is by far the oddest state he has lived in. The east side is beautiful with the mountains and trees. West coast he says is pretty nice as well despite the rain. But in the middle he said the state is virtually all desert which you would not expect.
