Danny Weddle Pens Local Hoops Book

Featured Replies

Long-time WFTM/Mason County basketball and football announcer Danny Weddle has authored a book - How We Play The Game: A History of High School Hoops in Mason County.

Story:

Weddle's book captures local hoops history

Where can you buy the book at?

I hope he writes as well as he communicates orally. Great announcer with an incredible knowledge base. I will definitely be buying this book... I am sure his account of the night Billy Ray led Montgomery to Rupp over the Royals is an interesting perspective.

This should be a good read. I look forward to getting a copy when it becomes available. Weddle has a tremendous amount of knowledge that he can share.

Great basketball history of Maysville, Mason Co and some St Pat games. Very well written.

one of the 5 best HS games I've watched live, and the #2 individual performance I watched live on any level of basketball.

I'm sure this is a wonderful book and I look forward to reading it. Danny is a "class act".

I remember Tony Sapp and Rick Schwartz compiling box score books for all the local schools. Are those still available anywhere? I had one from Bracken Co, and in one of the moves it got lost.
