How? I'm showing 16 teams:

 

Fulton County, Fulton City, Carlisle County, Hickman County (4)

Ballard Memorial, St. Mary, Paducah Tilghman, McCracken County (4)

Mayfield, Graves County, Calloway County, Murray (4)

Community Christian, Christian Fellowship, Marshall County, Livingston Central (4)

 

I miscounted because I didn't add in Livingston Central, I meant 15. And that was using the thinking that sweet16 detailed afterwards that you can't be certain about Community Christian. That would still leave the 2nd Region with only 15 teams as well as the 3rd Region with only 15. And the problem of having split up teams local to the same county in both the 2nd Region (because one of the Christian County schools would have to get displaced to take on Todd County Central in their district) and 4th Region (by moving South Warren into the 13th District).

I agree. I suspect Clark and Montgomery may be moving out to other regions.

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see the entire current 40th District relocated.

Wonder how 8, 9, and 10 will shake out.

I will disagree with you on that one BigZig! The ninth has far too many teams in it compared to some other Regions. The ninth currently has I believe 20 teams, thus making it much more difficult to win the Ninth, as it does to win a Region with only 16/17 teams in it.

 

For an example the 8th has only 17 teams, the 11th has 17 teams the 7th has only 17 teams and the 10th has 17 teams.

 

Look for either the Boone County schools going to the 8th or the Campbell County Schools going into the 10th.

I do not see them moving all the Campbell County schools to the 10th as that would mean 5 teams moving.

Last time around it was nearly Highlands moving to the tenth instead of Scott and Calvary. And Ryle moving to the 8th rather than Simon Kenton. Just a note.

I see Montgomery to the 16th; Clark to the 11th.

You make a lot of sense TOG and I'm not saying it won't happen but I'm somewhat skeptical..The Kenton schools being in 3 different regions should be resolved. Also although I believe the Campbell Cty schools should probably move to the 10th and bring Scott and Calvary back to the 9th I just don't see those schools agreeing to move to the 10th without a bit of a fight. In particiular I think Highlands would be very much against moving to the 10th but maybe I'm wrong about that.

Although I don't agree with it, I can see them moving Clark Co to the 11th. Montgomery Co might get away with staying in the 10th for a little while longer.

Just curious as to why Highlands would fight this move more than NCC Newport Bellevue and Dayton?

And my experience when Campbell Co. was moved is there is not much fighting them on these decisions.
