Not referring to your post above Thrillville ...

... the jokes flow to mind but the situation is so sad and ugly that none seem appropriate. Suffice it say say that justice has been served in the best manner possible in this world.

Im happy to hear this, but in a way it makes me mad. Sarah Jones has sex with a minor and only gets 5 years probation. Do we live in a country where a pretty female can do as she wants and nothing happens? Jerry should be behind bars and so should Sarah. If it was a male teacher with a teenage girl who got let go there would be protest and riots in the streets!

Not even remotely similar or comparable.

I'm not going to get too deep into this, but there is a huge difference between Sarah Jones having sex with a male high school student and Jerry Sandusky having sex with multiple children over the course of 15+ years.

That and according to the law, the age of consent in KY is 16.

There's nothing worse than what he was convicted of doing. As to his sentence, will he probably be in protected custody/isolation? Considering the high profile, I'm doubting he'll spend any time in general population.

I saw something on Yahoo where they said he would probably end up at a minimum security facility. I don't understand that, isn't this considered a violent crime? If not it should be.

Bill Cunningham told a story yesterday on the radio on my way home from when he was practicing law. His client was 70 years old and the judge sentenced him to 30 years. The client said "I'm 70 years old, I can't do 30 years". Bill said the judge responded, "just do the best you can". :D

Sandusky should be put in general population and let the other criminals take care of him and save some tax money.
