It was ball four. What's the complaining about? It was the right call all around except for the home plate umpire. As slow as Hanigan is you HAVE to move the runners with full count because it's an easy DP. And, in case no one has noticed, Hanigan isn't Babe Ruth.

WHY do you send runners with no outs; can't believe it.

How is it not? there is a team eliminated.

You were in the championship game. How many times have you heard a sportswriter, an announcer say,

The Bengals were just eliminated from the Super Bowl?

Kansas was eliminated from the NCAA Championship by Kentucky last night.

You bunt to give Stubbs and Marshall a chance, or maybe Frazier? If not, you pull your best option for the next inning on the mound?

That's why you bunt....All but guarantee yourself at least one more run.

they may not say it but it is an elimination game.

I agree with Corleone. Bunt them over. Maybe they walk Stubbs to set up the double play. If they pitch to Stubbs, that is fine. Either way, we pinch hit and get back to the top of the lineup faster.

Still can't believe what transpired in the sixth.

Anything but a strike em out, throw em out and this is going to go down to the last out.

Now, let the talk about the biggest collapse in postseason history begin. Just can't believe it.

With the your strikeout leader and pitcher spots coming up? How does that guarantee a run?

Tough decision to make on a possible walk.

You bunt him. Takes them out of the double play and you are down 2 runs at worse going into the 7th. Don't trust the umpires they are human.

I don't see where the guaranteed run comes in by bunting Hanigan. Don't see it.

All they need out of Stubbs is contact. If you don't think he can at least put the bat on the ball there, he has no business being in the game. Most likely scenario is they walk Stubbs to force the Reds to use a PH'er and then you've got Frazier up.

No way the put Stubbs on he would be the 6th run.
