I thought #2 McGinnis did a very nice job last night for CCH. I know his parents were torn between Lakeside Park & Ft Thomas for their boys. Good luck to them!!! Would of loved to have him in the correct Blue & White. I guess the previous situation just wasn't going to cut it for their kids....

I agree with your assessment on him. Told his dad last night that he would "still" look good in the Bluebird blue on top of the fact that he would get to play with a relative just like what occurred back in the early 80's. Apparently Coach Wirth was smart enough to "lock" him up even before the playoffs as he has apparently appeared in several varsity games already. Good athlete and a nice kid to boot, not to sure about the rest of the family though.

Just relax.....Just having some fun!!! The same could of been said the other day about your comment where you said the HHS receivers need to be more involved in the HHS offense. I think you even used the "Transfer" word. That actually was amusing!!!! That certain kid isn't going anywhere, especially after Dale locks him in 4 weeks from Friday's game in the annual "Lock-em" night. LOL....

 

Just as I was with the "transfer" comment... I'm glad you got a chuckle...Although until last night it wasn't entirely out of the question... I pretty much call 'em as I see 'em... When a team throws about 2 1/2 times a game, why wouldn't you consider it if your position was that of a receiving nature... I don't want to take anything away from the backs running the ball, they have all done an outstanding job... Heck.. I was a lineman... what do I know about "skill" positions? I am glad you know that "certain kid" better than I do as I want him to be a 'Bird as well. Just as I did when the decision for him to go to HHS was made...

You would only consider that if you were extremely short sighted. However I generally feel that every kid should go where they are happy, so if 2.5 passes per games makes a receiver unhappy then that kid probably should transfer. You only get to be a kid and have a high school experience once so make sure you enjoy it.

Awe the sensible one. It's usually never the kid though.

Why are we talking about throwing only 2.5 passes at the frosh level? We all know the next three years will be totally different at the junior varsity and varsity level..#29 will get his chances to catch a lot of balls over the next few years..

Not real sure where that statement came from myself.

Only one player has started both ways all year for CCH Freshmen- #24 Ben Darlington @ RB and MLB.

Everyone else starts one way or another although starters on offense do sub in on defense and visa versa.
