If (and I don't think he is or will be) Gruden was interested the money would be there IMO. There aren't many Grudens though that will be interested.

If that is what it takes then I hope he would pay him the money. I don't think Gruden(s) will come either but Jon is definitely at the top of my wish list and I hope they would at least try instead of taking the 'he won't come attitude'.

Jay is the more realistic of the two, but I'm in agreement that you shoot for the moon with this hire.

Ohio State hit with bowl ban, Tressel gets show-cause penalty The ban could effectively eliminate Tressel from coaching until the 2017 season. If another school wants to hire Tressel before the penalty expires, it must go before the NCAA committee on infractions to argue its case. Do we really want that kind of attention?

Tressel was a good coach, but who isnt with his kind of talent at OSU. Go get Boise Sate coach, if he can win with less talent than UK, he is a good coach.

October 3, 201214 yr Very tough situation. I just don't know if any coach can get this ship righted. Maybe a big name? It all comes down to recruiting. KY D1 kids are not the answer. Very few, KY kids are SEC top level talent. Yes you do need to get the very small few that may be, but the base of the recruiting needs to be in the talent laden states. Florida, Georgia, Texas, etc. Tough task indeed.
October 3, 201214 yr I'd argue that Boise State has more talent. OK, but what I go on is ratings of stars, I bet KY has more 3 and 4 star kids than Boise does. I think Boise turns good players into better and great players.
