PurplePride92
Patrick Towles frustrated, wants to play now, father says | Kyle Tucker – UK Beat According to his father Towles wants nothing more than to be at UK. He also wants to win now. I know a lot of us here on BGP are in favor of Towles redshirting this season to protect his eligibility. Towles apparently doesn't care about that and wants to play now. I'm hearing rumblings that Towles may leave. Anybody from NKY hearing anything like that?
Mayfieldsportsfan
He should have never went to Kentucky to begin with. A nothing talent school in football.
sportsfan41
I understand he may be frustrated but leaving now, where would he go and play this season.... half way in to the season?
uk#1fan
He needs to wait till next year.
D-Rob
With the way things are going, he will have a new system to win the job for next year.
PurplePride92
I understand he may be frustrated but leaving now, where would he go and play this season.... half way in to the season? That would be impossible to do I would think. I'm talking about leaving after this season. If they play him this season I'd hope he'd stay but I wouldn't be sad to see him leave for a better opportunity.
SvFan4life
IMO Towels should want to redshirt. This year is lost and he can have 4 complete years.

98NCCalum
I agree. Not if you're better than the guy in front of you and could be playing nad helping them win now.
PurplePride92
Not if you're better than the guy in front of you and could be playing nad helping them win now. They'd still lose. The offense hasn't been a problem this year when Max Smith is playing.
Qwerty1278
I'd be upset if my team was god awful too.
sportsfan41
It does have to be a bit of a culture shock for Towles. He goes to college at a school that's not had a lot of "great" or even really "good" teams within the past few years,in a league that's known as the premiere league in all of college football. This is after having spent the past 4 years of his football career at Highlands, a school that's won 5 straight state championships.
PurplePride92
And Max Smith goes down and Whitlow is the QB and not Newton. Interesting.
Greg Page
Towles frustration & Max Smith's injury will be of little consequence if Whitlow keeps playing like this!
