I watched already. I watched SK barely beat a Beechwood team that is down big time this year and a Beechwood team that dominated that game.

I also watched a scrimmage between SK and Cooper where SK couldn't come close to keeping up with Cooper. They needed a calculator to keep up with the scoring Cooper was putting on SK that day.

7 on 7 is meaningless. 11 on 11 Cooper will never have time to pass the ball. Beechwood game was the 2nd game of the season. SK's game plan was to wear down Beechwood which they did. SK ran the ball for 173 yards and 117 passing against Beechwood plus a 91 yard kick off return. They showed they don't give up. Cooper would get handled by SK.

I just started! People got jokes in my thread. So I will have jokes to.

You are correct, however, my point in response to Mr. Sixer's post was that Conner scores more points per game than Cooper, and Cooper is scoring, on average, almost the exact amount of points per game that Conner has allowed. Do you see where I'm going with this? What I'm trying to say here is that although Cooper is 6-0 at the moment, they have not shown me that they are capable of scoring with Conner. This game may be a shootout, and if that is the case, I question Cooper's ability to keep up.

 

Conner gives up 32.8 PPG (to be exact), Cooper scores 32.6 (to be exact)..

 

No doubt if it comes down to a shoot-out Conner may have a slight edge. I say slight simply because why most don't realize it but the Jags can score in bunches as well and that avg. would be somewhat higher had ANY of the starters played in the 2nd half of the HC game after being up 49-0 at halftime. You are also making the assumption that Cooper's D would concede 44 pts. Again someone else that appears to be sleeping on weapons that Cooper has. Got nothing but respect for Conner and know a couple of their players personally but just like everything else in life respect is earned and hopefully the lowly egg laying Jags, and little brother in Union or whatever else we get called, get a little closer to getting what we justly deserve.

You may want to hang on to that post. It's pretty impressive stat when you realize that was the first 3 years of Cooper's existence and you had SK Sr's and JR's playing against Cooper Freshman and Sophomores. Pretty impressive, be proud of that. :thumb:
