That was my first thought then I came back to reality after remembering BG beat X again...

Would have John Hardin in front of LexCath and Scott County.

Would have LexCath in front of Scott County.

Would have Franklin County higher.

Would have Frankfort in top 25 somewhere.

Using the Male-LexCath game as a measure - either Male is too high or there signification drop between the 2nd tier and 3rd tier. 1st tier being Trinity (OK maybe 0th tier for them), Highlands and BG.

That was my first thought then I came back to reality after remembering BG beat X again...

Plus, X's only other Kentucky game was a blowout of Fern Creek, which may not have earned them many points with Cantrall's computer.

The win over the SC team and the closs loss to Moeller doesn't help them because they are out of state opponents.

I get Highlands being high based on the dominating win over Scott Co. (although the rest of their schedule so far is poor). Cov Cath hasn't played or beaten anyone in-state of substance. Due to that......I'm saying Highlands beats them 3-4 Td's on friday.

You believe there are only 24 teams in Kentucky better than Frankfort?

According to my (sometimes shaky) calculations; Cantrall has Frankfort 80th.

Highlands' games this season haven't been all that tough either. Highlands has a win against Boyle County who hasn't turned out to be all that good: 2-3 with wins against a not good Collins and a not good Dixie. In fact, Boyle put up about as many points against Highlands (31) as they did against Dixie (37)...the same Dixie that Cov Cath trounced 54-0. Scott County (4-1) is by far their best win, but they gave up 37 in that one. They've also beaten Mason County, whose only win is against Harrison County, and a Western team that's yet to win a game.

Having seen Frankfort in person during 7 on 7 and Male in full action I would say that would be a close game.

I see Frankfort at 54.9. Seems low.

Notice i left Bg out of that statement. At this point they are a better team than X, but i dont think they will be at the end of the season. But T,Bg,X

oh ok, thanks that explains alot. I didn't know these were computer rankings.

BG is breaking in 18 new starters this year. X had more returning starters this year than BG. They will still be ahead of X at the end of the year.

Scoring points counts for something too though. Highlands has scored 52, 60, 51, and 61 points in their 4 games so far this season.
