September 16, 201214 yr Yes he could. Rich Brooks was solid year in and year out and he's no Saban. AMEN! Rich Brooks faced adversity head-on and did a very admirable job. And he was a LOT nicer person than some coaches in the commonwealth.

One of, if not the worst losses I can remember as a UK football fan in the past 10 years, and that is saying a lot with all the losses that have piled up. But Western, really? Momentum ran into a train when Randall Cobb left. Progress was lost before this season. UK had a window of opportunity to get the ball rolling on being a consistent competitor in the SEC but that window slammed shut 2 years ago.
