Are there any? I think it would be tough to run for president unless you were wealthy. Most common folk can't get 2 years off work to campaign.

Not all that familiar with Goode but after looking at his website I like where he stands on the issues. Looks like an attorney who has turned career politician, which is fine, but I would say he has plenty of cash.

I just don't understand this way of thinking. All the Dems tallk about is his money and success, and somehow that is a bad thing? I think it should be admired and respected. Romney does not need an ordinary job. The Pesidency is more of a duty in my opinion and I think he is well suited. Fact is, he is not a very good "Politician".

The economy in 2009 was poor but it has been in equal or worse shape before and rebounded much quicker. Poor policies = poor recoveries.

He had the congress for how long? 6 months? Then we had all of the filibusters. If peope are fighing you and your policies, and the policies in place are not the ones the president wanted, I don't see how the economic situation is just his fault. Where is his American Jobs Act he wanted? What economic polices was he not blocked on?

Who said it was only his fault? It's not but he's obviously failed as a leader. He did have the congress and a super majority which other presidents have not often enjoyed. He had the majorities for 2 years. Yet he was not able to get things through. He allowed himself to become distracted and we're still paying the price. Health care was a priority over the economic situation. Congratulations! He got that through. If the same effort had been made on the economy perhaps we would be in a better position?

It's interesting that some on the left say his policies are working and others that say the policies we have now are not what he wanted.
