Maybe they want to open the new stadium with a packed house and they know that the Birds fans will come in droves to fill that stadium. Maybe it's about exposure and making some jack! You know how much money a team makes off a sold out game when the birds are coming to town? I'd also like to think that Steve and Dale have a mutual respect for each other and who else would you rather play in the opener of your new stadium than your mentor? I love this idea and I will be there when the gates open. And even though I have a cousin on Campbell County and so does my wife, we'll be wearing blue and white! Like there was a doubt?

Brady Hightchew is one of the best all around athletes to come out of NKY in a while. Regardless of how he got his yards (passing or rushing) he was still very effective and a darn good QB at the high school level.

Fist of all, you are comparing apples to oranges here. As I do think that Durham is a very good athlete, there's no way you can compare him to Hightchew. After all is said and done when Durhams highschool career is over, it will not matchup to what Hightchew did. So stop trying to compare a kid who is having a great start this season to one of the best athletes in NKY in the past five years.

I think NCC and Campbell Freshman play this week. Will CC make it a clean sweep or will NCC win this one?

Prolly one of the best athletes I have seen around here in a while, which is why people are still talking about him, but let Durham play against some of the schools he played against and durham would have had 5 million yards. This thread is getting alittle out of hand. Why are people talking about the past and the future when we are in the present which says that this year the Camels beat up on the breds. Bottom line.

They played against the same teams w/ the exception of Newport, Lloyd, and Brossart.

I totally agree with you. I think he could be a great TE/DE at the next level. As of right now I am not sure who is looking at him, but I do know that whoever gets him will not regret it one bit. He is a great football player and a great kid off the field.
