Incidents like this that happened last night are what republicans are up against when it comes to appealing to black people.

Maybe they should be passing around that the two idiots were immediately pointed out, kicked out and denounced by the people there.

It's long been a stereotype that all blacks can do is sing and play basketball. His last post reinforces that stereotype that blacks desperately want to get away from. I guess he thinks all these baskeball players and rappers eat fried chicken and watermelon all of the time as well. He's pretty much saying when he thinks of black people he thinks of the NBA and hip hop. When you think of whites you think of swimming?

It gets crazy. I didn't believe the story when it was told to me so I googled it and then read that they were kicked out and I thought how convenient for that part to be left out.

Given the fact that there are more whites than blacks in the general population it's all the more reason to associate a minority with an industry they dominate. How is that offensive? I'm not calling them murders or rapist just basketball players and entertainers. So if I get your logic black people would be just as offended if I called good basketball players and singers as they would if I called them food stamp kings or queens. Correct?

 

Believe it or not some would be offended if you said I associate black people with NBA players and hip hop.

Plus I think he is a Duke fan, which I think is worse than being a racist.

I hope you see where I'm coming from. I, and I mean me personally have never associated goverment assistants with race. I'm kinda floored by the whole thing. When I said I associate blacks with hip hop or the NBA I consider that a positive thing. Now you know more about be black than I ever will so I will have to take your word for it. Plus, I wish one person would tell me I'm good at singing or playing basketball.

Yes. You do realize that there are more white people than black people in our population and that is likely the reason why. The latest number I saw said that 39% of white are on welfare and 37% of blacks are on welfare. While there may be more whites on welfare as a total number the percentages show that a larger proportion of the black population is on welfare compared to whites and that may be why some, a few, most, a couple of white people tend to believe that more blacks are on welfare. Because everywhere you go it looks that way.
