Hangman
This guy is showing a confidence a rookie should not have. He has led Seattle's first team to their first 2 offensive touchdowns of the preseason tonight. First half stats of 139 yards passing and 2 touchdowns along with 58 yards rushing. Every drive led to points. All the critics said he looks great against the scrubs but let's see what he does against starters. Well, he is playing his best ball yet tonight. I understand it is only preseason, but if you are watching this game you see what I mean. Russell Wilson is the real deal, and has earned the right to be starter in Seattle. Hopefully Carroll agrees. D-Rob
If he was 3 inches taller, he might have been a 1st round pick.
PurplePride92
I hope he does well. I hopped on the Wisconsin bandwagon last year.
00Rocket28
If he was 3 inches taller' date=' he might have been a 1st round pick.[/quote'] I'm pretty a sure Dilfer said the other night had he been 6'1 he'd have possibly gone top 10.
NEERFAN
NFL Network showed much of their game and I believe they said at one point he had led them to scores on 12 of his 17 series during the pre-season.
Hangman
Last night specifically he led 7 drives... 3 touchdowns, 3 field goals, and a missed field goal. Jon Ryan (punter) got no action until Tarvaris took over.

Ive learned not to call anyone the real deal based on preseason performances. Teams dont really prepare all that much for teams in the preseason. John Anthony
Was afraid when he went to Wisky. Wilson is just a smart kid, he's gonna do what it takes to succeed.

He's going to have his struggles, but it would take a hell of an argument to convince me this guy isn't a starting level QB.

He definitely deserves to start the season, however I can see him starting to have some struggles duirng he year and then them turning to Flynn. But I'll wait to decide whether or not he's the real deal.
hrcarrier
Wilson will be a starter; I've been sold on him for quite a while now.

D-Rob
If Wilson doesn't start then it will be strictly because Seattle spent so much on Flynn and don't want to waste that. Russell has earned the job.
