The challenge in next week's episode looks fun. Would be REALLY fun if Angie was still around.

Love me a good blindside especially when it's someone thinks they are untouchable. I had a feeling it was coming after her confessional. If Tandang ever loses (and at this point they may not) an immunity challenge will Abi's reticence to participate in challenges bite her? The editors certainly made a point to to show Jeff calling her out on it.

I really thought she would blow Kent's cover once the torch was extinguished.

Me too. I'm honestly liking Kent in the game. Hope he goes far.

I am with the both of you. Thought that was why she was being all awkward, but instead it's because she has an obsession with Jeff. She seemed really immature.

I do wonder though, how much of that is Abi and how much of it is her team not wanting her to compete? We only see what the producers/editors let us.

And what happened to the rule that you couldn't sit out back to back challenges?

I was wondering the same thing

I was wondering about that also.

That was a big blindside at the Tribal Council. She didn't have her bags or any gear with her. I think she was considering spilling the info on Jeff as she stood there and paused before leaving. You have to be game on non stop. She was just joking with Jeff on the sports and baseball stuff but she talked too much in front of the tribe and that got her voted out. If she had stayed quiet, I think they would have voted out Katie. You have to think about your every word, move, action, etc. because people are looking for ways to get rid of you.

Finally had a very strong week. Too bad I didn't get my picks in early. I'd be right back in it. Making some rookie mistakes this season. But I feel good about my picks for next week.

I saw this on a Survivor Insider website where Dalton Ross interviewed Jeff Probst. Apparently the rule is you can't sit out back to back challenges if the challenges are to be shown on the same episode ie Reward and Immunity. He did say that the rule may have to be updated since there are now many shows where the reward and immunity challenge are combined.

I know if I were in her position I would love watching him squirm around while talking about baseball. I think being able to make him paranoid would make a miserable time very fun.

Exactly! That is why so many "coat-tailers" have made it to the finals. Be quiet and be a non-threat.

bump...

Looking forward to tonight's episode and the drama that looks like will happen due to the challenge.

The real question about tonight is this: Will Wu Tang Clan pass Mommy's Little Piggy in the standings?

I didn't like that choice made by Team Kent/Penner. You only do that move if you have someone like Ozzie back at camp. Also, Carter is such a waste and is incredibly ill-suited for this game mentally.

Things are looking bad for Team Kent/Penner though the one thing they have in their favor is the other tribe seems to definitely have a divide that the remaining members of TK/P might me able to exploit when a merge happens.

Finally, they need to go back to the "you can't sit out two challenges in a row" rule. Way to easy for a team to hide their weakest link this way.

Looks like the merge happens next week.

I'm impressed with the game Jeff Kent is playing. Not too dominant. Keeping his secret and booting anyone who figures out who he is.

They keep playing up the angle that Abi isn't taking part in challenges. Makes me wonder if a blindside isn't coming her way soon.

I've figured out that beauty queens usually are the most shocked when they get blindsided.
