Getslow is more general? I've got to admit, I've been curious for a while as to what the significance of your username is. Care to elaborate upon it?

 

Sure. It's a nickname from high school. My history teacher freshman year at Trinity couldn't say my name properly and instead of asking, he barreled through it and then kept using the mispronunciation throughout the year. That man was the affable and excellent Gene Eckert, who taught me all about the Council of Trent, the Peace of Westphalia and the Spanish Armada. Great teacher. Anyway, several of the guys in the class picked up on it and it wasn't too long before most people knew me that way. There are people to this day that still call me Getslow.

This is the one and only name. Quite a few know who I am from this name, especially those that played softball back in the late 80's early 90's at the "City", but it doesn't bother me.
