October 30, 201312 yr Cal went all in on Harrow as his PG for last year, so the indictment was on him. Guys like Marcus Smart and Semaj Christon turned into elite PGs in a class Cal wrote off at the position early. Took Harrow as a transfer instead and it backfired. Truth is Harrow was never good enough which is why NC State was happy to see him go. That error is on Cal. He hasn't made many in his time at UK, but call a spade a spade... Could UK have been a factor for Marcus Smart? I agree Harrow was a Cal mistake.

October 30, 201312 yr Three letters. N. I. T... If Noel hadn't gone down with his season ending injury UK would have been in the NCAA tournament. How far they would have advanced is debatable but I think they could have got by the first two rounds.
October 30, 201312 yr Like last year... :sssh: Actually, yes. Notice I didn't say they were elite, only that they were capable of it. Last year's team tanked, no two ways around it, but the recruiting class was still loaded.

October 31, 201312 yr I don't really know. GT spoke positively of him once so I started following him. Seems to know his stuff. He knows some stuff when it comes to UK basketball recruiting. He's very elitist though, but that's chartered territory when you're a UK basketball and a Ohio St. football fan. He at least knows what he's talking about the majority of the time.
