^ Per Evan Daniels, UK has not offered Delgado. If they do offer, he says that's where Delgado will go.

Interesting has that not been the thought for like a year now, that they were in fact packaged ?

Okafor says he and Jones are not a package deal.

Where'd you read that? All he's said is that he has no leader.

Link?

I can't find the tweet I read earlier but it said something like Okafor says the "definite package deal" is only a rumor.

Okafor tweeted he has no leader despite what people are saying.

Plus this:

Just got off the phone with Jahlil Okafor's AAU coach. The package deal with Tyus Jones might not be such a guarantee.

Thanks C.

Cal working that magic? Or Okafor just trying to cool expectations and try to throw everyone off just to add excitement to a decision that is pretty obvious?

I think the latter.

Okafor says he and Jones are not a package deal.

Latest quote from his father:

[h=1]Recruiting rumor bothers Okafor[/h]

"The ultimate goal is for both the boys to play together," Chukwudi said. "But they may not find a situation that fits them both. It would be great for them to play together."

The two players will make official visits together to Baylor on Aug. 30, Kansas on Oct. 18 and Duke on Oct. 25. Okafor will visit Kentucky on Sept. 9 and Arizona on Oct. 11 without Jones. Okafor will also make unofficial visits to Illinois, Michigan State and Ohio State.

Okafor would like to make a decision in November, but his dad said that is not set in stone.

Myles Turner. I thought the bolded from this article was interesting:

One of the most heavily recruited prospects in the 2014 class, Myles Turner knew the time had come to narrow his list of schools. So, late on Wednesday night, the 6-foot-11, 225-pound center from Trinity High School in Euless, Texas, cut his list of schools to eight.

When the dust finally settled, Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, and Texas were the only programs left standing.

"There were a lot of things that went into me cutting my list of schools," Turner said on Thursday evening. "I did a lot of research on the schools and my parents really left the decision up to me. I did a lot of demographic research, and looked at different cities and had to decide if I'd be happy in that city or not, outside of college.
