Bengals Draft

Liked most of the picks. The TE pick was questionable. Absolutely no need there. Still would have liked Decastro. DB was addressed with 3 selections. I hope they're not holding pat at LB. Not sold on the current group.

There is a need, Donald Lee is at the end of his career and Gresham is a major head case.

Boom Herron is a sneaky nice pick. No talk of him today that's cause he's a younger more athletic version of BJE (who isn't a head turner). If BJE goes down his clone will step in. Downhill runner who will wait for a hole and it.

At first I felt the same way but after watching him and reading about him I love the pick...He will be a productive player, inurance for Gresham and they can also both play at the same time...He is a playmaker and has been compared to Vernon Davis with less speed obviously but still has the quickness and agility to stretch the field...The Bengals were smart to not forget about their young QB and get him some weapons...

I do like loading up for Dalton. Like I said I thought it went pretty well for the Gals. Just would have like to see a LB. I know it was never mentioned as a need for them. I just don't like the group they have.

If that's the case, then he will become a wasted pick. In the age of the TE I guess I don't mind the pick so much.

How do you feel about the free agent LB out of AZ St.? He was rated one of the top 5 LB's in the draft.

The recent local draft coverage included photos and video of the two picks taken in 2011 after A.J. Green. Great footage of Andy Dalton and Dontay Moch, holding their Bengals jerseys. I saw those and asked.....who the heck is Dontay Moch, and is he in the witness protection program???

I have no problem with them getting the TE, I think he will be a good one. Sometimes you dont always have to draft for definite need. Yes LB group is a group that needs to be improved still, however not like there was a linebacker in the 4th round we should have took instead. We took probably the best player available. Not to mention we have drafted two mid round pick linebackers the last two years in Moch and Muckelroy, no reason to make it three years in a row of doing that.

I liked them picking up that free agent linebacker, he will be cheap and if he can get his act together he can be a stud. If not he is easy to cut loose.

I'm not familiar with his "issues". Low risk, high reward?

Remains to be seen. Marvin seems to be pretty good at getting these guys on track and the reports say Marvin has talked with him a lot leading up to the draft.

I really like the majority of the positions that they drafted players to potentially be at and was really surprised at the talent they got if going by the numbers, stats, etc. that they got, especially from the third round and on.
