cshs81 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Here is the Enquirer's rankings for ALL of NKY. http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060103/SPT0302/601030367/1068/SPT I'm not sure how Holmes didn't get #1 after their nice run in the 5/3 tourney last week.

Boone County I may want to Flip Flop HC and NCC as well as Dixie and Beechwood. But until some of these teams play each other it is hard to say.

Good to see Pendleton still trails Holmes in the Northern Ky poll.
bigstick23 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 1) Holmes 2) Cov Cath 3) Pendelton 4) Highlands 5) Beechwood 6) HC 7) Scott 8) SK 9) Boone 10) NCC This is in all of NKY
FarmBoy Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 1. Holmes 2. CovCath 3. Highlands 4. Holy Cross 5. Simon Kenton 6. Scott 7. NCC 8. Beechwood 9. St. Henry 10. Dixie
NEERFAN Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Good to see Pendleton still trails Holmes in the Northern Ky poll. First time I've ever seen the Wildcats in a NKY poll, long over due. My top five would be 1 Pendelton 2 Holmes 3 CovCath 4 Highlands 5 Holy Cross
striker Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 1) Holmes 2) Cov Cath 3) Pendelton 4) Highlands 5) Beechwood 6) HC 7) Scott 8) SK 9) Boone 10) NCC This is in all of NKY Brossart... not in top 10... interesting.

All Play No Work Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 First time I've ever seen the Wildcats in a NKY poll, long over due. My top five would be 1 Pendelton 2 Holmes 3 CovCath 4 Highlands 5 Holy Cross Once again we are not sure of the "rules" regarding Pendleton Co. Some claim that the poll is of NKAC coaches and only NKAC teams are to be voted on. Some coaches either don't realize that, or forgot, or decided to vote for Pendleton Co. anyway.
Tiger1 Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 NCC and Dixie won't be ranked ahead of Scott in next week's poll. They shouldn't have been in this poll especially with both of them with losing records and with Scott having already beaten Dixie.
BigStud Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 If everyone looks at the title of this thread I said 9th region. So Brossart, Scott, and Pendelton aren't eligible.
NKYBOY1487 Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Before I post this, I want to make sure everyone knows this is just my opinion RIGHT NOW. I dont think this is how it will end up, but I do think there are some teams that need help right now. 1. Holmes-Showed at the 5/3 they are as good as advertised. 2. Highlands-Good gaurds and strong inside. Senior oriented, defense oriented. 2. CovCath-Need Tierney to Return. The tiebreaker takes place on Friday. Without Tierney I take Highlands. 4. NCC-Still going through the football growing pains. Keirnan has proved what I've said all summer. He is going to be tough to handle. Good guards. Good D. Good Team. 5. Beechwood-Romes has the boys rolling and climbing up the ladder. Can they make a run at the All A. 6. Holy Cross-They are beating teams I didn't think they would beat. Possibly the most overlooked team in the Region. 7. Dixie-Lawson is healthy and they will keep improving. Easy district allows them to win easily in districts. 8. Newport-The team we all say is going to surprise people, isn't doing much surprising. Bad showing in the Campbell Co. Tourny Drops them to eigth. 9. St. Henry- Here comes the test for the CRU. District games vs. Conner and Boone. Then the All A. Then back to districts vs. Ryle. Time to step up. 10. I can't find anyone worthy of this spot.
