As good as he has them he will be 3rd most every year at Arkansas with an occasional 4th if Auburn gets their act in gear or one of the Mississippi schools has an upswing year.]

Close, yet so far away. Going in to the final week they were 1, 2, and 3 in the polls. Arkansas finished 5th and an argument could be made they were the 3rd best team in the country. Yet they were nowhere close to LSU or Bama. Not sure that will change.

I can't see how it will. How do you recruit now? Every other coach will use your past of jumping ships along with your moral problems against you at every stop.

I was mainly making a joke. I do agree that their are some significant differences that make Petrino more likely to be fired than Pitino.

The main take away is if his name ends in "ino" you don't want him around your wife, or your daughter, or your mother, or your sister, or your grandma...

A little history..Wimp Sanderson had an affair with his secretary, actually smacked her when she decided to stop it. He was let go.

 

Mike Dubose also had an affair with his secretary, given another chance due to Shaun speaking on his behalf, but was let go the next season

 

Mike Price was hired and then fired, not sure what he did, but it wasn't good..

 

Coaches are leaders of young people and visit their homes, I'm sorry they need to be fired.. Ricky too and Tom Jurich also for not doing the right thing with the University.
