Ernst is reporting that Marcus Davis of Boone has de-committed at Wofford and will be a preferred walk-on at UK.

I also heard that the UC coaches were at school yesterday. I guess when they got wind that he was at CU, they better make another personal visit. Let the battle begin!!!! I also heard that Quintin Borders (Bryan Station) visited CU last weekend. CU

ADD THESE HENRY CLAY PLAYERS

Rod Johnson RB- Western Kentucky University

Chris Hawkins OL- Middle Tennessee State University

Salin Simpson QB- Middle Tennessee State University

Ron Blume, the states leading rusher. Too small to play d-1 and doesnt have enough moves. Great speed and good high school RB but IMO he will be a good fit for a NAIA school or D-2.

Good thing Barry Sanders didnt read these.

Add Sam Gardner (Michigan State) to the list and that is now four players from Henry Clay who will be playing major college football next year. This is the reason I made the comment earlier on BGP on caught a bunch of flack over it from the Rock fans, that Henry Clay had more talent on the field than did Trinity. Trinity was a much better team on that night, but how many Trinity players are going D-I?

Western Kentucky also got commitments back in December from:

Seth Tamme WR Boyle Co.

Ronnie Letcher DB Madison Central

KJ Black QB Fern Creek

Newarkcath......E. Smith was one of the most coveted backs in the history of HS football. I read an article about him when he was in HS and his stats were amazing. Florida does not take too many high risk players.

Add Garnett Phelps of Ballard High School signed with EKU

Mayfield's Josh Hatchell and Southwestern's Matt McWhorter both signed to play football at Murray State University. Good luck to all these young men that are going on to play college ball!

If Blume does go to Morehead State...they will assist in finding grants as well as work-study's that will help financially...plus tuition isn't very high at all...For a program without scholarships, Coach Ballard does a phenomenal job and I can guarantee that Blume will get great training and have a chance to be that long-shot that makes it to the NFL via the small school. Go Eagles!!

Ron Blume has talked to Morehead, nixed a visit to Univ. of Virginia, nixed talk with UK because he has his own dreams. His father told him it was not about what anyone wants you to do, it's all about you. You follow your dreams. This young man does not have a problem with going to a smaller college, financing his first year or being a walk on. He wants to go to Ohio. He knows he will have to prove himself.....start from the bottom but he has heart and determination. If he is able to do as well as he has been, he will get noticed by the school of his dreams. He has talked to the coach at Muskingham College and will be meeting with him this week-end.

Of course I am prejudice, but he deserves to have his dreams come true, as do all of the other fine young men.

While I am at it, I would like to thank all of you. It has been a pleasure reading everything I could find on my grandson. All of you will be apart of the scrapbook I am making on him. Thank you so very much!

Word is that that's a fun recruiting trip. ;)

Aren't they all fun??

Here is a link to how hard that will be, not impossible but very difficult. You can click on the school of choice and see how many have been taken from each college in the last 23 years. I want to wish everyone good luck and get your degree men and let the rest take care of itself. http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/drafts

Good link LTW...This gives our players something to set their sights on!
