See I think this is where the question has multiple answers depending on where you live. In my case, I live out in the country, he is my closest neighbor and from house to house is probably at least a football field if not longer. Do I hear the trucks in the morning yes (weekedays Im already up for work so no big deal.) Hence, why I say I don't see sun up as an issue. People work different shifts different times, you can really know what your neighbors work life is persay.

 

I agree! So maybe in the country it is okay to mow at 7am but in the city maybe that is a little early.

BTW Guru I did complain to Boone County Judge Moore about the trash company coming into our neighborhood years ago at 5am and it was stopped quickly as from what I can remember, the county contract said something to the effect not until after 7/8am.

 

I have always found our local politicians to be responsive to legitimate complaints.

I do not live in Florence but in my neighborhood, you cannot park a vehicle with a company name on the side of the vehicle your driveway. Also, 1 day for a trailer or boat then it must be moved from the property.

 

What about putting out trash at 3-4 in the afternoon the day before? My neighbor does this and it really tees me off. Looks like crap. I always wait til after dark to put out my trash.

I would not be a happy camper if I lived next door to this guy. Really enjoy sitting on the deck, enjoying a cup of Joe and reading the IPAD and/or paper on Sunday mornings. The solitude is relaxing.

Doesn't bother me. I get up everyday at 6, so by 8 I am off on my scheduled tasks by then, anyway. Besides, the couples' schedules only allow that time for mowing.

I am not interested in any city ordinances or the like I am asking are there any un-written rules that say when is too early to start mowing your grass? In the past I always thought the rule was 10am!?

Some areas of Lexington have ordinances that require your trash to be out no sooner than 7 p.m. Tuesday and brought back in no later than 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Day of the week shouldn't matter. Some work weekends and are off on certain days of the week. What about roofers?
