Certainly doesn't hurt, I'm from an class A school that hasn't been to a state tourny since the 40s.

Didn't hurt Shelby Valley two years ago.

So what is the enrollment of Scott County? I am guessing it's close to a 1,000 to 1,100 boys when you count the HS as well as the Freshmen school. So lets not get carried away because it ain't a David vs Goliath HS basketball game!

This school year Trinity has 1303 boys and Scott County has 1,230. Scott County is now the largest high school in Ky.

At least according to this KHSAA website http://www.khsaa.org/reports/enrollments/20112012schoolenrollmenttotalsbyenroll.pdf

Pulling for my Rocks! I'm repeating my mantra....Serendipity would be Trinity's first basketball championship to be won on St. Patricks Day

Anyone who thinks having 1300 boys to pick and choose from in sports don't help is crazy. Especially the types of kids Trimity has.

^ Is it our fault that we can handle said capacity, and that we're such a draw? What should be done about it?

I'd love to agree with you, but this is only our second EVER trip to the Sweet Sixteen, and our very first Championship game. By your logic we'd be there year in and year out. Trinity's had over 1,000 boys for quite some time. Why has there never been the success we've seen in football, if numbers matter? In fact, when discussing football, the argument has been made that because you don't need as many players, basketball benefits less than football in the numbers argument.

I think Trinity takes the championship, one they seemed destined to win all year.

It's not like the biggest schools are winning the title in between those 15 year spots.

It helps but anyone who says the only reason Trinity is successful is because they have 1300 boys is crazy too. All those thousands of boys but it took until this year to get the right group together to play for the title. They haven't won it yet.

What radio station in Louisville?

970 AM WGTK. Or you can watch @ khsaa.tv

I assume, though, you'll be watching another game. :D
