FCC713
When looking at the draw you would think Conner packed it in and held on for dear life but that wasn't the case at all. Cov Cath dominated the first 15 minutes of the game winning balls forwards, connecting passes, looking confident, and hitting dangerous crosses from the outside backs/outside mids. Then the young Conner team flipped a switch and it was all Conner from there. Conner outplayed the Colonels for 75% of the game and was evident to everyone. The back lines for both teams held very well to multiple attacks. Conners midfield was tenacious and won it for their side and caused havoc in middle of the field. Very nice result for the Cougars but they seemed to deserve the win in this one. Cov Cath scores in the beginning of the game off a cross that ends up hitting the back of a Conner player and going in. Conner scores from a well struck free kick in the second half. Good luck to both teams as districts approach!
imsays
Wow. Nice result for Connor and it may be a tie in the books but its definitely a loss for CCH.
that's what she said
Nice result for the Connor program. Probably a game CCH (should) put well behind while walking to their cars.
