Second, I went back to read the thread again because it had me think so much about my behavior @ times.

I wish Mr. Hannah & his family the best as well with his knee injury. I hope he is recovering as nicely as Mr. Yates.

Excellent observation & post , I must admit that I could be one of those that you mentioned in your post about saying things in the heat of the moment without thinking first. This post will be a good reminder for me to think before I say things that I shouldn`t.

You are everyone exactly right, he should heal up this week for sure , the rest of the season is far too important than the game with Paintsville.

Back in the day when I played & I`m sure a lot of you other members can remember that if they had a coach like I had they would have been in the stands all right , but they would have been running them up & down & all around for two weeks & may be the rest of the year. The other players would see what happens if you decided to do things your way instead of the team way. IF a player decided to quit he may as well just keep on walking because our coach would tell them the last thing we need on this team is a quitter there wouldn`t be any coming back or asking to come back. The team is what football is all about not individual personalities, it is a game meant to teach you discipline,respect for others , self respect, self control,teamwork,& sportsman. Where I played woe be unto to the player that didn`t represent himself in the highest manner because his actions were viewed as a direct reflection of the program . Everyone understood that on & off the field how they would be expected carry themselves because of who you were representing. Imo once a staff loses control of discipline the team loses respect for them.

You are absolutely correct about the players than Rowan has. The main problem that the team has is the offensive coordinator is like a ball in high weeds.

Yes they have. Ashland`s opponents are (17-6) Boyd Co. opponents are (17-8)

Score looks like the defense really got after them & did a great job. Nice win on the road.

You are referring to Reed the kicker. I don`t know if anyone is working with him or not but what I have seen of him the young man has a world of opportunity before him as a kicker & is definitely a weapon for Greenup. Good luck to both squads this week.

The Greenup coaching staff did a nice job of assesing their players & obviously made some good changes with there new people. Raceland is getting heahthier ,this will be Greenup Co. third straight road game. Should be a dandy matchup.

Didn`t hear much about this game. Was it supposed to be a blowout instead of an ugly win @ Magoffin Co. ?

I have to commend your caoching staff for making the correct player adjustments as well. I thougt the they did a great job of reviewing last week`s game & getting things sewed up a little tighter as a team with the changes that they made.Your line did do a good job on both sides, Craft had more time to make his reads & took care of the football this week. I felt bad for the player`s @ Rowan for them it has to be another dissappointing Sat. morning. They do have a lot of good players that don`t quit the entire game. I think when the running back # 2 went out late in the first quarter it really limited them on offense . I think he is there most productive all purpose player on offense. Looks to me that they have several players out of position. Your guys did do a good job as a team & congratulations on the win.

I hope East Jessamine`s head coach is a merciful gentleman. This should be a game that a lot of young players get a chance to see some game time.
