Plenty of time. less than 2 hours from Danville to Pineville. Closer to 1 1/2 hours if you push down the gas pedal. No sandbagging just telling the truth. Bell played very......tenative the other night. If that happens again they will be turning in the pads for sure. LC was a very good team and I thought they might have pulled it off. Boyle got a few big plays that I did not think they would against LC.

The way UK played Saturday they could not put up 40 if they were on the field all alone. U of L would be too worried about protecting the Cardinal. :sleep: IMO this game will not be a blowout. HHS will eventually pull away but it will be hard fought. JCHS is one dimensional as well and managed to put up a few points. Whitley throws the ball better than JCHS but that is not saying much.

1991 don't matter much. Very few of these players were even alive then. Although I like your prediction. According to the poll Boyle is the favorite. It will take a tremendous effort for Bell to pull off the upset.

I have seen Byran Station and yes Whitley is much more physical than BS. Totally different type of offensive team and overall mentality. Someone mentioned you must stop the FB according to a coach at the UK/UT game. That coach must have been the special teams coach. You have to stop the QB he is the focus and best player on the Whitley team. All 4 backs in the ace formation are very physical runners with decent speed. Size wise this match-up will be even or near even. WC is not a big team. Speed wise HHS has an advantage. But I have heard on other thread you are down 21 when you come to the mountains. Also their is lots of firetrucks in Whitley co. so a muddy field should be expected. :lol::lol: On a serious note Whitley has a wonderful field as good as any HS or college in KY.

Good luck Whitley. No turnovers and you have a chance. Seems that HHS has a hard time stopping teams that run right at them? But then again when you score as much as they do you don't have to play a bunch of run defense b/c the other teams are playing catch-up.

I would have said Whitley until last night. Knox seems to be the best. Both are pretty good teams. Rock was not as bad as we made them appear. I agree with PurplePride's assesment that whoever wins will have to be a heavy favorite in the pizza box. :thumb: Hopefully the team that survives comes out healthy.

After the showing last night I agree you would have to have them 4 or 5. Merrick was a huge difference in field postion and the 2 FG's. Also had 1 near miss from 49 I think??

That is the wonderful thing about this game Boyle can bring as many as they want but only 11 can play at a time, the persians had hundreds of thousands!! I promise you unless it rains during warm-up field will not be a factor. I know the teams up north like the 1 inch cleats (see Cov Cath in 93) but us folks down south like to play by the rules!!! From the sounds of things I sure hope Bell was overlooking KC, b/c Boyle will come out smoking. Bell will have to play 4 quarters something they have not done since probally the Whitley game.

:sssh::sssh: No No Bell runs it every play and are very slow footed. Boyle is the favorite though. They have played better as of late it seems. Bell has to get it going.

Great effort by KC. Bell done what they had to do and that was about it from the sounds of it. They better get a wake up call in a hurry. Again great game by KC, someone said the crowd was very good for both sides. Maybe Bell's defense is not as good as advertised?

I voted for Bell but from what I was told they were lucky to pull out the W tonight. I was in another ville. I was impressed with Boyle's play. They played very hard every play and looked well coached. Not a bunch of great athlete's but a bunch of football players. Bell will have to play at the top of their game, like the 2nd half of Rock to pull out the W. I still have the faith in the Bobcats but they will have to play at the top of their game, not perfect but very good. Sounds as if Bell had a hard time stopping the run of KC tonight. If they did Boyle will move the ball on them.

It will be a fun night on Log Mtn. It will be a great atmosphere that Bell is used too. When you get in a Regional Championship everything is turned up a notch. It will be interesting to see how KC handles it. Bell has lots of experience and it will show on Friday night.
