I just heard that All-Star Defense Lineman Donnie Brown will be returning to the BlueBirds roster in 2008. This boy, if he really get serious could be one of the best Def Lineman in Northern Ky.

Hey happy, Since then the Sanders Sluggers team, have beat'en #1 Ranked Cov Cath (also ranked 11th in the state), And they had Beechwood beat and lost 7-6. Watchout, for the Cinderella team of the 9th Region!!

Well said Malac, It seems like they do have some youngmen with alot of authusiasm , energy, and leadership qualities. That they would make good leaders. They were very fortunate to have such great teachers, role models and true leaders last year. It will be interesting to see who will step it up and fill the shoes. Good Luck!!

With the QB skills of Justin Sherlock, and the power running game of Michael Richardson, the Devils will be a contender in thier division. With the addition of Chris " Masher " Lewallen, Chis Pompilio (one of the best defense of players in Northern Ky), and Michael "The Bus" Richardson (two-platooning). The Middle of thier Def will be intact for a couple of years. Let's just say, there will be some serious hitting going on and also some kids playing with some heart and pride. Good Luck!!

This is so great for the Cov Cath program. Now the 7th and 8th graders can learn the colonels system and sytem can learn who they are. The middle school league has really helped some area teams such as New Cath, Simon Kenton and Dixie Heights. And for a fact, I do know that the middle school league is very competitive. I seen some of play-off games last year, they were wonderful to watch. Very classy teams, coaches, and very complex league. God Luck!!

The youngman that coaches girls basketball would be a good football coach candidate at Ludlow HS. He was a great player and he knows the game and he works well with the young people. Any thoughts?

I heard from a very good source that one team in the area was eating at White Castles tonight at 7:00. That should be good for something.

On one good note for the Middle school league starting at Cov Cath. The 6th, 7th, and the 8th graders that want to play for the NKYFL, but can not make the weight limit. They will finally have a place to play football now. That is great for those youngmen. Good Luck CCHS!!

Agreed GPF, The Alford kid can flat out play the game. With Roller and Alford in the middle of the Bluebirds Defense they should really be fun to watch. Good luck!
