  1. Yes, it's frightening isn't it... Just as in other things the KHSAA does there is NO consistancy with their rulings.
  2. I wasn't responding to the first post. I should have quoted it in the first place. I would do exactly what the Euton's are doing. I do not have any problem with parents moving to another district for any reason, including athletics. I realize the KHSAA doesn't see it the same way so the Eutons and everyone else who is in this situation must come up with something to make it a "legitimate" move. I just think it's rediculous that people on here are acting like that's not part of the reason. I also think it has worked out fine for both OJ and Bill, but to act like all those moves weren't basketball related also would be rediculous. I know the folks in the area are a little touchy on this subject, but please, call a spade a spade.
  3. Maybe they'll go to Cincinnati and then when things don't work out there they can end up at Huntington High.... I don't blame them and I hope things work out for the best, but to try and paint this as a move that has nothing to do with basketball is insulting to everyone's intelligence.
  4. I wonder if Mr. Euton will include this on the resume he sends out to potential employers? Let the bidding begin.
  5. I've heard Franklin Simpson is very athletic. They could cause some problems for the Lady Indians. That being said, Montgomery Co. plays under control and passes the ball very well. Maggie seems to be on a mission. I'll take the Tribe by 8.
  6. It was mentioned in the Rosco Denny thread that he might be the most famous assistant coach in the state. Who are some others? I'll go ahead and mention a few Scott Hundley former Mr. Basketball and Vanderbilt stand out and Billy Ray Fawns of 10th region tournament fame both sit on the Montgomery Co. bench Larry Kihnley, long time assistant at PRP and also writes for Rivals Robby Graham at Clark Co. also does a great job and is well known throughout the state. others???
  7. What about Whitney Lee from Montgomery Co.? Little sister Makenzie has one more year with the Lady Indians, but Whitney will be a great head coach - and Robinson isn't going anywhere soon.
  8. I heard that everyone who came got in the gym. Maybe not a seat, but in the gym.
  9. Congrats to Mason. They were clearly ready to play tonight and took care of business. Good luck in the state tournament. The Tribe played hard to the end tonight. Best of luck to seniors Jordan Stephens, Josh Clark, Blaine Stull, Garrett Gibbons and Jeff Daily.
  10. I don't think there are any guarantees. When the fire marshall shuts it down no one else gets in.
  11. That's what happens when the scholarships are taken away.
  12. This was the break the Lady Indians needed. They didn't have anyone who could match up with Novosel, but they match up pretty good with Henry Clay. Their experience of going to Diddle each of the past three years will pay off in this game. I'll take the Tribe by 7.
  13. This is the first time in a while that SC hasn't had a really good PG. Walls and Mackey could both break a press by themselves. Before them was Tyler Hicks. Before him was C-3 Brown, Before him was Casey Alsop, Before him was Rick Jones and when Coach Hicks came to G-town he could put the ball in the hands of Michael Richardson. Josh Walls will be a good one - but is at least another year away. I'm guessing G-lawn will improve his ball handling skills in the off season. They are probably having open gym and weight lifting later this week.
  14. How does everyone think the time off will effect the teams? More time to prepare - help or hurt?
  15. I don't know all the players on the all-tournament team, but there were 3 from Mason (I think they were mentioned above) and Jelik, both Prewitts and Lee from Montgomery Co.
  16. Elizabeth Prewitt. I agree - that was a big play.
  17. Way to go Lady Indians. Jelik was AWESOME. 6'3 and able to finish with her right or left hand. It's going to be fun to watch how good she can get in the next two years as she is only a SOPH!
  18. The 95 team from Montgomery Co with Billy Ray Fawns and Ryan Steger was also very good.
  19. If I know Maggie, I'd say that's it's fine with her for Chambers to be player of the year as long as Maggie is the one who gets to play in the state tournament......... again.
  20. Lady Indians roll in this one. They have the Lady Royal's number. Prewitt and Lee are very good, but it's the other Lady Indians that will make the difference in this one. Kayla Webb and Mary Jelik on the boards will be a big factor in this one. Montgomery 65 Mason 53
  21. I just saw the low-lights on Sportscenter.... a 30-0 run is hard to overcome. It looked bad.
