I dont think Perry has been tested enough and havent played much competition since Dunbar. Breathitt just got through beating Clay County a couple weeks ago. Im not a Breathitt fan and I hope Perry slaughters them but I have to say Breathitt by 8.

I think PCC will beat Breathitt in the Semi Finals. PCC is no longer a 2 man show. Cindy Kilburn has found her old grade school form and has been shooting the lights out. I look for PCC to beat Breathitt by 3 this time around. Go DORES!!!!!

We may of wanted Hatchers head on a platter a few months ago but things are different now. I have saw so much progress in his team that I am amazed. Its not like he has had 2 of the best players in the 13th region handed to him like Big Al was. Take those 2 Bobcats out of the dog lot and who would win. Hahahaha. Thats what I thought. Well Dawgz you pulled one out tonight but next time it will be different. Enjoy your success right now, you have earned it. I have to give it to Big Al though, he sure has got the best from Jones and Campbell. Those guys have improved so much. Exactly Leonidas. Thats why I think the Master will prevail when it is all said and done. Wonder how all that will sit with the fans at the Dawghouse. Big Al does have a lot of pressure on him. :flame:

I will take Hazard by 5 in this one but when they meet again in the Regional finals, I will take Perry Central by 2. Perry Central has the best coach in the Mountains. After tonight it will be Big Al 3 Little Al 0. Come finals of the region night, it will be Big Al 3 Little Al 1. The 1 that matters most. :thumb:

As of right now, I dont know if anyone can beat Dunbar. They are on fire. But they may get a little tight come tournament time when the nerves start factoring into play a little more. Can they handle the pressure in the region? We'll see. Im going to have to go on a limb though and say that LCA will win this region.

What about Bert Brown from Perry Central. He is from the Richmond area isnt he? Would he be a good hire for Madison Southern? Im not sure Brown has applied though.

Yes unfortunately this is true. I saw John Yancy at Hibbetts today and he was buying him a tennis racquet. He said that he just wanted to focus on Tennis his best sport. He also said since he didnt care much for playing on a team, he was not going to play any doubles at all. Singles matches only. Good luck JYA you'll be another Andre Agassi. :banana:

When will Little Al get his first win against Big Al? Big Al has a ton of talent coming up at Eversole Middle and plus he feeds off the county schools at times for talent. It may take a while for Little Al to get that first win over Big Al.

But look at Perry Centrals and look at your schedule. Then compare records.

Has Bert Brown from Perry Central applied? I have heard rumors.

Maybe Coach Hatcher didnt feel like he good enough to shake hands with the great people from London. You know the Londonites are big city people now. They are in a class above everyone.

I think Steve Banks is more than qualified to Coach basketball at Breathitt. The man was a helluva player and probably still is. You dont build a great program in 2 or 3 years. The musical chairs that Breathitt has been playing with their coaches has hurt the program tremendously. I dont know why the Fugate boys quit but it seems like quitting sure is awfully easy for kids these days. One or two games dont go their way, a coach chews them out once or twice, or they dont get a lot of PT for a couple games and they are ready drop ship and quit. Parents are probably the problem. No kid is more important than the team. Sometimes you get on the coaches bad side and a day or two later, things are fine. I dont think any of those boys are going to the NBA any time soon and they should be thankful that they are playing what they are. Channing and Colby are good players and probably should of stuck things out.

Eric Back was the best reciever on the team hands down. Who else is going to replace those 2 or 3 TD's a game? Especially after losing Ryno Miller one of the leading scorers in the state. Maybe Browne may want to move on to greener pastures with some better talent.

With the loss of Freshmen Star wideout Eric Back, will Coach Browne stay at Perry Central to coach again next season? I heard that many schools are after him. I know PCC lost most of its Offensive Line and D-Line. Should be hard to replace several 300 pounders.

I never have been able to figure out why PCC would never venture 40 miles down the road to play Clay County. Breathitt played Clay and got beat 15. Clay is a pretty solid squad. I think the size of Clay would give PCC a lot of trouble.

Knott will never beat PCC or Breathitt in the Regional Tournament. Knott just isnt tournament tough. Whoever does win the region will be making a long trip to Bowling Green for one game.
