Do any Raceland fans think this matchup is in our future. I would love to see this game.

I would love to see Ironton on the schedule. There was some discussion, but Ironton is still playing Ashland, and will start playing Russell again starting in 2009. I think it came down to playing Russell or Raceland, and the Russell game worked out. I doubt Ironton will be able to play three Kentucky teams.

I think Ashland may very well drop Raceland after this season. I don't know if Russell will or not. I know there was some talk with Lawrence Co, but a date scheduling conflict stopped that. Maybe next year.

 

Like I said, I doubt we could schedule Ironton, until their series is up with either Ashland or Russell.

 

I would like to see Beechwood, but I doubt they would schedule Raceland. I would like to see someone from Northern Kentucky added.

 

I would like to see Pikeville back on the schedule as well.

As a side note, Ironton scrimmaged at Greenup County in 2007 and will scrimmage them again at Tanks Memorial Stadium in 2008.

Raceland is scrimmaging Johnson Central, that is good for Raceland. And Raceland is scrimmaging Morgan Co. in the EKC Grid. So we only have one scrimmage to play with, due to being in the EKC.

 

An Ironton scrimmage would be nice and is possible. Whellersburg and South Point already play some Kentucky teams as well, so it would be difficult to schedule them for the same reasons as Ironton. I would love to see it happen though.

 

Rock Hill wouldn't be bad either.

Why would Russell drop Raceland. Man, Both schools are lining their pockets. Big gate.

Yea, I dont understand why Russell or Raceland would drop the series after last years turn out. There was a huge crowd and Im sure both schools made a nice profit.
