2 very deserving players! I am not as familiar with Rom, but I can tell you that Ben France is the real deal. The headline of the story may be a little misleading. While Ben was very good on the mound this year he also played a very good 3rd base and also played some innings at 1st base. He also had a very impressive year at the plate. As a senior he was a leader on and off of the field. Just a complete player and a great young man. Good luck at Dayton next year!.

Bingo! Holy Cross came to town with nothing to lose. Their starting pitcher, Owen Finke pitched a heck of a game. Their catcher was very good behind the plate and at the plate. I believe it was the catcher that hit the 2 run bomb in the 1st inning.

Jackson Blank was the player with the walkoff single.

Cov Cath beat Holy Cross. Not sure of the score.

Cov Cath wins 2 to 1 over Cooper.

After seeing the Crusaders play on Friday I am a believer. They have some very good pitching, pretty good defense and are very well coached. If you look past them, they will beat you. Their Coach has them believing in themselves and they are peaking at the right time. The good news for everyone else is that the secret is out.

Cov Cath beat Pendleton County and then Simon Kenton in a double header on Saturday.

Cramer through 6 I believe. He came out for the 7th but i don't recall his replacements name.

Who pitched for Campbell County?

Come tournament time St. Henry will be a tough draw for any team with Haddle on the mound.

Chris Coleman was my son's physical therapist after his labrum surgery. DR. Bilbo did the surgery. So Commonwealth did the surgery but we used St. Elizabeth Sports Medicine to do the rehab. We did some asking around and Chris Coleman was highly recommended by several "baseball" people. I can't imagine that you could do much better than Chris.

I did some homework for myself. Drew Rom was on his game for sure tonight as you pointed out. Great game Drew and congratulations on you announcement to attend Michigan. Very strong accomplishment! Jackson Haddle pitched a complete game (8 innings) for St Henry. He held Highlands scoreless through 7 innings while only giving up 6 hits and striking out 6. When Haddle is on the mound, hits and runs are tough to come by. While I was not at this game, I think both Drew and Jackson deserve a shoutout for their pitching performance tonight!
