  1. It was in the stats, look it up.
  2. This was a very good game. The refs did call a lot of fouls, bot to be fair most of them were fouls. The Saints have 3 people that could average 20 ppg in Owens, Anderson, and Mason. Mason can also average 10+ rebounds for the Saints. Either Lee Gallenstein or Darby Gallenstein could go off for double digits any night also. The Saints had 18 assists last night also, and that is a great number (7 of those by Anderson). The King twins were held to 4 points COMBINED in the 1st half, they ended up with 17 each, but that shows that people can contain them. Everyone talks about how the Saints need to improve on the free throw line, but in the last minute, they made something like 7 of 8, the one missed was by Owens, probably their most reliable free throw shooter other than Clarke. Great game, now the Saints have to repare for Agusta Thursday and Fleming County Friday.
  3. The Saints DO need to work on their free throws, but they did have an improvement in the last game.
  4. Heart. Desire. Being able to knock down key shots in key areas of the game. Good Free-throw shooter. Good defender. Good ball-handler. Any combonation of 3 or 4 of those and you have a pretty gosh darn good guard.
  5. I like to do that too, even is we are just soft tossing in the backyard. I feels like my glove is going to fall off if I don't have a glove under.
  6. The thing is, I think that they do have those players. Clarke is a good hitter and a great fielder, and they have some other players that will make the necessary plays.
  7. Those girls have played together on the same team since 7th grade, so they have grown together, and this is basically their JV team, with the exception of Chelsie Webber, that many people thought was better than their varsity last year anyways. They will suprise this year.
  8. The Saints have lost 2 games at home in the past 2 years I believe. They are just insane on their home court.
  9. I agree witht his but I think that Bishop Brossart is better than Deming.
  10. I agree 100%. The Saints will come out with some ball-hawking defense and that will be too much for the young Deming team. Deming will look to double Owens I believe, but he will still have 12+ points. That will free up Anderson and Mason for some easy points. Mason and Anderson will both go 15+.
  11. I think St. Pat will be a suprise team. Won't win it, but will be a very suprising team with losting many of their starters.
  12. Sounds like a great game. I wish I could have seen it.
  13. The Saints looked very good. Cropper did a good job hitting those threes coming off the bench.
  14. I'll take Mason in this one. Darius is going to be special this year, and Mason will have a great year this year. Maybe even win the State Tournament.
  15. Deming in a close one. That is only if Bourbon does not take the King twins out of the game with some grand scheme defense.
  16. That Bellevue game was crazy, as was this one.
  17. St. Pat has a better team than Augusta IMO. Great point also. The King twins are going to be very good in their careers at Deming.
  18. I'll take Brossart in this one, but it will be close, under 10 points. Two VERY similar teams. Both are very physical and both have great defenses. Both also lost a lot of seniors last year.
  19. This was a very physical game, and something like 6 or 7 players fouled out. Darby Gallenstein and Chris Owens for the Saints, and 4 or 5 for the Crusaiders. St. Pat really has to work on their free throws though. Coach Hinson coached a good game. Anderson's half-court shot to put them up by 3 at the end of the 3rd really boosted St. Patrick's morale I think.
  20. I think Breathit County wins this one.
  21. Sorry I agree. I should have never brought it up.
  22. GREAT MATCHUP! I wish it was at Mason so I could see it.
  23. I saw them play last year against St. Pat and they won, but not by much, but they looked pretty good. What do they look like this year?
