mhighfield Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 This is a game of 2 top 5 teams and is played at Tates Creek in the commodore classic Friday night.Whats everyones thoughts on this.I believe it will be a good close game,It also features two Mr. Basketball candidates in Darius Miller and Shelvin Mack.Should be a lot fun for an opener.
AHSPanther23 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 This one may run down to the wire and like you said mhighfield, it looks like a fun opener for the season!
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I will just be listening to Danny these first two games of the year for the Royals. Can't wait til friday the 7th when I will finally see this great group of kids play.
mcpapa Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Thought I'd be out of town but plans were changed.:thumb:
Lights Out 30 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Can't make this one got to work, but I plan to attend Saturday nights game. But, I will be listening to Danny on WFTM. Go Royals!
Tiger1 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Mason County will win this game by 14 points or more. Miller dominates in this one.
mcpapa Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Anyone have good driving directions to Tates Creek HS? Whei I google it, the map says to exit on Alumni, head back towards town, then make three or four turns (Lakeside, Colt Neck, Chinoe, Greentree and Centre). Looks to me like it would be easier to get off at the Tates Creek Road exit, then go on Armstrong Mill, Greentree, then Centre parkway to the school. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

That how I would go there. May have to go see this one for myself. Exciting matchup! I heard BS beat Catholic by 15 in a scrimmage last week...don't know much except that BS hit a lot of threes and Novosel wasn't at full speed.
mortgagegeek Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Should be close ! I think Mason Co. will walk away with the win.
Bright Horizons Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I really think that this game will come dow to one thing. Can Mason Co., get the ball up court against Station's press and will they be able to get their shots off against a very atheltic team. I believe the answer will be yes. Mason Co.'s difference maker in this game will Trevor Setty his ability to hit from the perimeter will take pressure off of Miller and keep Station from sagging into the lane and trying to silence Miller. I believe this one will be close but Mason Co. will eventually pull it out. Mason Co. 66 Bryan Station 62
