bigblueinsanity Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Great game, but the Royals pulled it out in the end.
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Thank you for the updates. :thumb: As for the game: :dancingpa GREAT start to the season for the Royals against a tough Bryan Station team. Need to keep it up tomorrow night against Tates Creek. :ylsuper:
gold sunrise Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Predicted them to win by 10.....Congrats to my 10th:thumb: region Royals.
1996 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Sounds like the Royals really struggled from charity stripe and had some trouble with transition D.
spindoc Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 I called it a 10 pt margin by Mason in the prediction thread. Good game. Sounds like BS will make some noise as well. Congrats Royals.

Log Mountain Boy Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 That was a very entertaining game. For 3 quarters it was very exciting. In the 4th qtr Mason played much better than Bryan Station. Miller was very impressive. Offensively he has really improved his shooting, and has gotten a little more athletic than last year. I was really impressed with him on the defensive end. Mason Co. has a very good basketball team. Also, I was very impressed with Shelvin Mack as well.
OYPreps Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Nice game for the Royals and hard fought till the end for Bryan Station. I believe the Defenders' tallest starter is 6-2 Shelvin Mack who plays the point. I'm guessing not only was Darius Miller the difference, but the lack of height of Bryan Station made it tougher to defend the Royals.
bigblueinsanity Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 Both of these teams play again at the end of the season, so lets see how much these teams improve by the end of the season.
nanatoad Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Nice game for the Royals and hard fought till the end for Bryan Station. I believe the Defenders' tallest starter is 6-2 Shelvin Mack who plays the point. I'm guessing not only was Darius Miller the difference, but the lack of height was a contributor to in defending the Royals. The Station outrebouded MC and were very good especially on the offensvie board. They have some great big bodies and can rebound. Station is excellent timae and will be heard from in the competitive 11th. Good win for the Royals. Need to improve FTs, getting back on defense (Station really fast and quick and beat the Royals back several times, needed to go to half court defense) and rebounding. I thought Keith Downing was very effective tonight for the Royals and Ham did fine and Barner helped. Down the road these guys will be important to the Royals. Miller, Setty and Middleton we know what they can do with Middleton outstanding tonight.
