How do all these kids who live out of district in other counties attend and play basketball for Walton? This post reads like recruiting going on at Walton which we all know is not a good thing.

Do you know me well enough to figure me out on just my post? I am not saying Minnis isn't good just not the best in my opinion.

I concur whole heartedly Buttels. If I didn't need to start campfires the Enquire would be useless. Ryan Eenst must have got beaten up in Warsaw once he's even afraid to pass through on I-71 when he goes to Louisville. I just wish I knew what we had done to him to make him hate us so.

I've seen them both and both are very good. I prefer Penny.

Have you seen Penny from Anderson? The best in my opinion from what I've seen.

I agree with not overlooking anyone. In one of my earlier post on another thread I said if Walton was hitting the three they could beat anyone on a given night. I was just pointing out that GC did beat them on their home floor.

Never count out Coach Mefford and his Lady Panthers in the 8th. Good gaurd play, quick, and the experience from last year.

Carlton is who I was talking about.

Mustang Nate was a good player, but no more important than Cody Perkins, Trent Maddox, Taylor Jones, carlton, Henson, Brown, and I could go on and on. Teamwork not an individual is what drives the GC team to be the best they can be.

Didn't Gallatin beat walton on their homecourt with one of their best players out? I am not sure but I think it went down that way.

Gallatin Co. to my knowledge travels very well. I went to Richmond last year for the all A and there was in my estimation more than 2,000 people cheering for them. One whole side was Blue and White.

You might have to throw Gallatin into that mix.

What place was this for in the tournament?

I say you should talk to the coach and tell him you are not going to be able to do the job anymore and give him a game or two to find a replacement. Don't talk about your kids not getting to shoot the ball because they are obviously playing. Then set in the stands and complain like the rest of the parents do so that some of the people you are complaining to can tell you what it is like to go to the games to watch their kids sit the bench.

Nice call, Holmes knew they were in a battle and GC took it to them. It doesn't bode well for the other teams in GC's district or region if they play the way they did tonight.

Don't know about a zone Holmes shoots the trey really well. GC needs to handle the pressure, box out, and take advantage of everyone of their offensive possesions to have a chance. Holmes better beware can win this game. Tough game for GC. Holmes by 13. They are just too athletic for the Wildcats. (The Scout) Just like all year to big, to quick, GC is not good enough, yet they just seem to keep on winning.

Did the previous coach have any success in the post season or the all A? I am unfamiliar with the girls program and don't really know what the expectaions should have been.

What makes Henderson so tough is there are about 10 other kids who play for this Holmes team that are as quick and pressure as good as any team I've seen this year. This allows Henderson to lock down even more knowing if by some miracle he gets beat there will be someone getting his back just a notch below him.
