Rose Hill 76 Cornerstone Christian 60
You got them confused with Boyd County? Rose Hill will go to the Regional this year

Cedar Hill, TX 63 Elliott County 53
Watched this game on line. Pretty easy to figure out. Neither team shot well from outside. Cedar Hill had big advantage on inside. I don't remember a game where Ferguson never hit a three? Game over, Texas wins Seemed like Evan Faulkner was isolated alone on Texas big man for most of his easy baskets, probally would have adjusted that. Elliot County is still undefeated in Kentucky:D

Elliott County/Cedar Hill, TX (12-27) predictions
Well, since this is Elliot County, and despite the fact this is the 64th ranked team in the country, I have done some research and found out that Texas teams are tradionally inferior to Kentucy Teams and this Texas team would not be top twenty in Kentucky. The national ranking was done by a guy in Texas and he has not seen any Kentucky teams from Lexington or Louisville play. Elliot needs to play someone before I will jump on the bandwagon. I'm not sure anyone in the Beach Ball Classic would come within ten points of a 7th region or 11th region team! j/k but I wanted to get all the excuses out of the way when Elliot come away with a victory tomorrow!:dancingpa

Ironton, OH 83 Russell 43
Yeah, I got my county and my last name mixed up lol But my point was, you would take any players you could get, and don't really care where they went to elementary school at. Which would be the posisiton of about every other Coach I know in Kentucky. My position would be when they come to your school, they become "your" kids and you put the most competitive team you can out on the floor. Anybody that starts talking about where the kids are from before they came to your school is probally from Russia or some other communist background or has forgotten America is the land of opportunity and choices. Oh, and did you know that most Elliot county starters did not go to elementary school in Sandy Hook?:scared:

Ironton, OH 83 Russell 43
Are you saying if a kid that didn't attend elementary school in Russell transfers to Russell, Kidwell won't take him? What are you implying about "RUSSELL " kids and what is your definition of a "RUSSELL' kid? Where did this Carroll kid come from that is starting this year? Just wondering if your logic is consistent with reality? My guess is Kidwell would LOVE to see some kids transfer into RUSSELL school district who also play basketball.

Best Backcourt In Kentucky?
People tend to just focus on regular season matchups, but the Faulkners and Ferguson have gone head to head against most of these other combinations for years in the summer and come out on top most of the time There is no one in the state that can match their desire to win, and that's what gives them the edge Don't bet against them in anything They have 4 players in the starting lineup that will play in college, outside of Scott County and Holmes, who else can make that statement?
-
Elliott County 109 Lewis County 60
Some of you fail to realize that 4 of Elliot County starters have already played against the best competition already all over the country. There is nothing in the State of Kentucky that will scare them. They have already competed agasint the best in the country and came out on top most of the time. How many other teams in the state can list 4 players on their team that have competed and beat the best talent in the country already? Scott County may be the only other team that can match up their "national schedule". I wouldn't be too worried about Elliot's "warmup" schedule before they get to Rupp. They have already been tested- and passed:thumb:

Scott County vs Holmes (12/14)
THE Kentucky team that beats Scott County is going to have at least two deep 3 point threats, a big man in the middle, probally play a lot of zone, get Scott County to take quick shots while they are patient on offense and make Scott County chase them on defense, they will have to be able to play "smarter" than Scott County. Just don't think Holmes fits that m/o. Holmes will play their game, attempt to go toe to toe with Scott County and end up on the short end of the stick imo.
-
Scott County vs Holmes (12/14)
Holmes is not the kind of team that is going to beat Scott County. Scott County has the edge in this game Scott County by 6-8

Rebuilding A Program: Let's Talk Russell Red Devils Basketball
Well, if they can get a break here and there, I can see them coming up with 2 wins Kidwell just doesn't have a lot to work with

Manual/Lexington Catholic Scrimmage
Three more days in the signing period. Who is Jenkins going to sign with? Xavier? Wisconsin? Evansville? How many total offers on the table to decide between?
-
Ethan Faulkner to sign with NKU
NKU just signed the best point guard in the state!:thumb: Look for a National Championship banner to hang from the new arena before Ethan is through at NKU

Checking In: Manual
Is BCG hot on his tail? He is by far the best player in KY right now. If he were on a good AAU team this summer, the talk would be about him and only him. He was on to many teams and they never made very far in any tournaments, which has hurt in public views. But college coaches know, he is one of a kind as a basketball player that is hard to find these days. He has the ability to score, finish in the paint and is clutch in big time games. Just go ahead and mail him the jersey! Wisconsin or Butler would be great places but he is way better than those places.
-
Checking In: Manual
Without Jenkins Manual's doesn't win 10 games last year. He is by far the BEST combo guard in the state, I just wish BCG would notice this and get this kid signed! I would hate to see another KY talent get away. He has it all and with his improved "D" this year, he will be wearing the #1 jersey in the KY/IN All-star game.

Kentucky teams traveling in July
That is awesome that Jenkins is getting those looks, even though he isn't on a high profile team. I was worried that he wouldn't get the looks without the big team name. This just shows you that he is one of the best in the state, if not the best! Really wish BCG would come watch him, maybe the next Lofton! Hope he stay HOT!

Shining Star 17 U
Like I said that is 3 teams! I was just wondering if he was looking for a beeter option or if the Team Kentucky thing was just to help them out through State AAU!
-
Shining Star 17 U
Heard today that Jenkins isn't going to be playing with Team Kentucky anymore? Did another team pick him up? If he is gone that makes 3 teams already and it isn't even July, what's up?
-
Shining Star 17 U
Where are they playing in July? Who is on the team and what do they need to add to get better?
-
Shining Star 17 U
Team Kentucky is a great team, they go as Jenkins goes. Give him the ball more and they problem win the tourney! They will make some big noise the more they play together and learn who the STUD is.

State AAU tourneys next weekend
I saw Team Kentucky play last year a couple of times and I know the Coach is doing a great job. You can tell he knows his stuff and he is in it for the kids. I would say he is doing it because he enjoys the kids and trying to help make the ALL better players. I don't know him but he seems like a :fire: guy and a very knowledgeable Coach. Speaking of that, how was the coaching this week?

GRC
This lady has one concern and that is to go after a guy because of his position in the school, not what he does for the school and the kids that attend that school. Coach Humphrey and Coach Graham are about one thing and that is the kids. That is something that every person that works for a school system should be concerned with. Her personal feelings against Coach Humphrey and his staff is over shadowing what is best for the players and students at GRC. The one funny thing about this is she is on the board and her kids don’t even go the school. These coaches care deeply about every one of those kids and those kids would do anything for them in return. They have brought so much to that school and community, it is a disgrace that one person can cause so much unneeded distractions and stress to a program and a school that has enjoyed so much success during Coach Humphrey’s tenure. Theses are wonderful people that don’t deserve the lack of respect and courtesy that has been shown to them in the last week or so.

State AAU tourneys next weekend
His last tourney? He is not going to play in July? I was looking forward to travel and watch him play this summer. I know the Coach from Team Kentucky has to be disappointed that he won't be traveling with them. By far thier best player and takes a lot of pressure off the other players.

State AAU tourneys next weekend
What was Jenkins totals for the weekend? Hood is good but Jenkins hasn't had the coverage like him yet. After July everyone will be all over him, BCG should put the papers in the mail and sign him now.

State AAU tourneys next weekend
Congrats to the Shinning Stars 16U and 17U teams. What happen to Jenkins and Team Kentucky, I really thought they would have had a upset or two this weekend. Jenkins in the real deal, arguably the front runner for Mr. Basketball.
