My personal opinion is that the tandem of Ethan and Evan Faulkner at Elliott County are as good or better than any other combination of PG/SG in the state. Who are some other good backcourt combinations (in KY only)?

Hard to beat them.

I would think it would be entertaining to watch the backcourt of Bryan Station light it up against the #2 team in the state in their win. Or how about the party that was thrown by Holmes backcourt knocking off the unanimous #1 team Scott County. Greatness is not measured in winning against teams you are supposed to, but rather winning against teams that you are not supposed to win.

Nobody said we were measuring Greatness just giving opinions of the best backcourt tandems in the state.

Holmes: Riley & R. Johnson/J. Johnson (take your pick)

Bryan Station: Morones & Ashford (Scored a combined 61 points against #2 Holmes)

Scott Co: Jackson & Guyn

J'town: Thomas Jackson & Cosby

Mason Co: Middleton & Downing

Lexcath: Botkin & Sanford

Ballard: Chiles & Cox

 

IMO all of those are at the same level or better than the Faulkner twins combo.

 

And for those claiming Ferguson is the best shooter in the state, I again throw this question out there. Name one guard that has a higher shooting percentage from 3 point land than Riley of Holmes who's shooting 84% on the year and then you can claim them as the best shooter in the state.

Again, noone it talking about who wins what games. We are strictly talking about guards that play the all-around guard positions the best.

I've seen most of those play in the past 2 seasons and while they may seem more athletic and while they are surrounded by talented players, I just don't think they play the guard positions as good as Elliott's backcourt.

Why would you ask for his stats? Ask about Riley's schedule and the talent he's faced.

 

Riley acconplished something others have yet accomplish in years. Leading his team to a win over a #1 team or against an opponant ranked higher than his team.
