Agreed. If someone is REALLY good, a college coach will usually try find time during the high school season to see them.

Many times summer ball is where a player will get a better chance to be seen. Many college coaches don't have time during the high school season because they are playing too.

Another interesting thing to look at is when Lance Berkman hit the Pirates pitcher in the head. He was using a wood bat and the pitcher was only on the 15 day DL.

When I umped younger kids, my strike zone was usually from the letters on the front of the uniform to the bottom of the knees.

Liechty started for the Cougars and went 5 strong innings allowing only 3 runs. Zerhusen started for the Cru going I believe 5 as well. Russell came in for Conner in the 6th holding the score at 5-3. Delph came in the 7th and got himself into a bases loaded jam and gave up a game winning single on a 3-2 count with the runners moving. Good win for St. Henry.

I know a few times Delph has come out because he will be the next pitcher and the coaches want him to have time to warm up.

Walters hit a triple that scored 2 runs in the 7th and Russell laid down the squeeze. And their outfield is back!! West had a hit or two, Delph had a couple and Liechty also had a hit!:thumb: I'll remember to be more descriptive!

Conner's pitcher walked in a tying run in the 5th, 5-5. In the top of the seventh Conner scores 3 on a 2RBI triple and a suicide squeeze. Conner then gets the Camels out in order to finish the game. Austin Way gets the win and is now 2-0. Conner's record is 10-7 on the season.
