Royals FINALLY get their season underway.... Pendleton County won JV game 36-34 5-5 6 minutes to go in 1st quarter

Royals only beat them by 5 last year in January without Pawsat and again by just 13 in the Region semifinals. I would think it would be a close game.

:lol: Clark County off to a solid start, I'm looking forward to seeing them play in that Beach Ball Classic, those games better be online.

Pawsat out until the mid-end of January, that was a blessing in disguise last year and we shall see if it works out this year. The "core" is solid, Gilbert, Black, Harris, Setty. Once again, they will spend the first half of the season finding their way and developing a bench. Royals "should" win tonight, but they lost a few games last year when they were finding their way, looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

:lol: That scouting report is right on the money. :thumb: I have been a fan of Brossart and Coach Code since moving to Maysville in 2006. Play hard, play a team game, discipline, defense, just fun to watch those kids play. I would expect Holmes to win, but I really doubt it will be a 30 point blowout. I would say maybe 10-15, possessions in the game will be limited and as long as the Mustangs don't turn the ball over and give up easy points, it will be a somewhat close game just based on the style they play.

BC next plays Ashland at home on the 10th, then Elliott at home on the 14th. After West Carter on the road, they have two christmas tournaments. One at Phelps high school here in Kentucky and a second in Maryville, TN. So you figure that's roughly a 10 game stretch, we will know a lot more about this team going into January.
