Is Holmes at full strength yet or did the "Replacements" win another?

My wish is.... Gallatin and Owen in the finals of the Class 'A'. Why? Because one of them will win and that team has the best chance of representing the 8th in the State.

The top 3 teams in the class 'A' Region all have 3-1 records in their last 4 games. Walton's only loss was to SK (the best team in the region), Owen's 3 wins was by a total of 77 points, Gallatin played in 3 OT games out of the last 4. Not slighting the other teams Who's your pick?

We need an Owen county fan to log on and let the site know what happened in the last second of the game.

Cochran saved Shelby in the second half. Chambers earned every point he got. He and Wade were the only two that Gallatin could not really match up with on paper. Gallatin kept Wade out of his range and caused several TO's when the double down on Chambers got there, but when it was late he scored.

This rule is killing KY. High School Basketball. Let the KHSAA reimburse the schools athletic department for the $ loss and then see how long the rule stands.

High school teams do not need a shot clock.... If you don't have a good enough team to force a turnover when a (HIGH SCHOOL) team is trying to stall than they are doing you a favor by running out the clock. Teach the kids to play a little 'D' and 45 seconds will be way to long to expect someone to hold the ball.

KHSAA has it a 9 point game. 9 point win over Oldham without Hester IMO makes SK the hands down favorite in the region when he gets back. NICE win SK.

Looks like the top 4 or 5 in the region are real close. SK in what appears to be a close one and Shelby in OT. Going to be fun down at Henry this year.

Most teams would have folded against a good team like Shelby when they fell behind in the second half by 7 or 8 but the Cats showed me that they were for real and full of heart. Good luck in the Class - A.

What a game!! The Cats might have loss but it looked like to me Coach Jones and staff had a game plan to win and not just play close. The Cats played a little timid at times but by the end of the game I think they knew they belonged.
